Good Water Master Naturalist- TST Standard Core / Probe Water Quality Monitoring Training

  • Williamson County Extension Office 3151 Southeast Inner Loop Georgetown, TX, 78626 United States (map)

For current Goodwater Master Naturalists!

Current Texas Stream Team citizen scientists that use the probe kit, normally used by monitors who sample while paddling, will undergo Quality Control/Quality Assurance training once per year as a refresher to the probe kit monitoring procedures.

The core kit measures for dissolved oxygen, pH, water temperature, and conductivity. New monitors receive a overview about Texas Stream Team, the watershed they're intending to monitor in, and learn how to conduct field observations on the river, stream, lake, or waterway they are monitoring.

Please contact Larry Swift: paddlerls@gmail.com (project leader) for more information and to reserve a spot in the training.
