Art of the Sacred Texas Springs Exhibit

Wimberley will be taking part in a year-long celebration of springs in the Texas Hill Country. The celebration includes a series of art exhibits, music, pilgrimages and other events throughout the Texas Hill Country that pay homage to our rivers, streams, aquifers and springs. Activities ranging from student and professional art shows to technical lectures to piano concertos to late night dancing are planned throughout the year! Other locations include Barton Springs (Austin), San Marcos Springs, Comal Springs (New Braunfels) and San Antonio and San Pedro Springs (San Antonio).

The Wimberley Valley Watershed Association and partners will host a total of 12 exhibits showcasing a variety of amazing art, earth works, music, dance and spoken word at Jacob’s Well on April 19, 20 and 21. Guests will be encouraged to walk the land, meet with the artists, listen to the music, feel the enchantment of the Spring, and offer their own dedication to the ‘wellness’ of the Hill Country through their own inspired earth works creation. Stay tuned for additional details.
