SARA is offering a FREE workshop on August 30, 2017 for contractors to provide an overview of vegetated Low Impact Development (LID) best management practices (BMPs), including rain gardens, bioswales and vegetated filter strips.

Participants will gain knowledge of key design components, proper functioning, specific maintenance considerations, and sustainable landscape practices for improved ecological outcomes. A tour of on-site LID features will be provided.
