TWCA, through its Federal Affairs Committee, has scheduled its 14th Annual Texas Water Day for February 6-7, 2018 in Washington, D.C. Activities will include planning sessions, briefings, a working breakfast, a Congressional Reception, and coordinated trips to the Capitol to speak with congressional delegates and staff. Texas Water Day is an effort to inform Congress and committee and federal agency staffers of the critical water issues facing the state today. 

We are still developing the program, but participants will generally fly in on Tuesday, February 6th. We will have briefing sessions that afternoon starting at 4pm, and then our Congressional Reception will be that evening (note that this setup is a change from previous years). We will have our Speaker Series on Wednesday, February 7th, and visit Congressional Offices that afternoon.
