The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment at Texas State University was awarded a $351,101 grant from the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to implement Years 4-6 of the Cypress Creek Watershed Protection Plan (WPP).

The initial results from the first Bacterial Source Tracking Study were released last week and did show at least some sewage related pollution, but the results are far from conclusive. The first of three tests was made while it was raining. The next two tests will be during dry weather.

The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment at Texas State University has been awarded Clean Water Act funding on behalf of the Cypress Creek Watershed to continue implementation of the Cypress Creek Watershed Protection Plan.
